How do I add my business logo?
Go to Settings > Business Profile > tap the logo area. You can choose a photo from your library. The logo appears on all your PDFs.
How do I set up taxes?
Go to Settings > Tax Rules. You can create multiple tax rates (like VAT, GST, or Sales Tax) and set one as default. When creating documents, you can apply tax to individual line items.
Can I customize the invoice numbers?
Yes! Go to Settings > Numbering. You can set a prefix (like "INV-"), starting number, and padding. Numbers auto-increment with each new document.
How do I convert a quote to an invoice?
Open the quote and tap the "Convert to Invoice" button. This creates a new invoice with all the same details, leaving your original quote unchanged.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. We never upload your data to any server. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account.
Can I export or backup my data?
Yes! Go to Settings > Export Data. This creates a JSON file with all your documents, clients, and items that you can save or transfer.
How do I change the currency?
Go to Settings > Business Profile. You can select your currency and symbol there. This applies to all new documents.
Can I use BillSwift offline?
Yes! BillSwift works 100% offline. Create invoices, generate PDFs, and save everything without any internet connection. Share when you're back online.
How do I delete a document?
In the Documents list, swipe left on any document to reveal the delete option. You can also delete from within the document editor.

Troubleshooting
My logo looks blurry on the PDF
Use a high-resolution image (at least 500x500 pixels). PNG format with a transparent background works best.
Documents aren't syncing between devices
Make sure iCloud is enabled for BillSwift on all your devices. Go to iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and check that BillSwift is toggled on.
I accidentally deleted a document
Unfortunately, deleted documents cannot be recovered. We recommend using the Export feature regularly to backup your data.
